Lillie Beatrice Coleman Chambers, age 95, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born February 16, 1931, in Wilkes County to Avery Lee and Lillie Clementine Gregory Coleman. Lillie was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in the Windy Gap community, where she also worked in the Church nursery and sang in the choir for many years. Lillie was a devout Christian and her daily walk reflected her love for the Lord. She cooked for her family on Sunday for over 30 years and loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Chambers enjoyed her flowers, gardening, quilting, canning, and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Davis Chambers, Jr., sisters, Irene Coleman Chambers and husband Herman, Nancy Jane Coleman Chambers and husband, Ernest Lee.Mrs. Chambers is survived by her daughters, Cathy Chambers Goulds and husband Reggie,…
