Doris L. Beninghof, 97Doris L. Beninghof, 97, of Greenwich passed from this life on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 in Lutheran Village. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.Doris was born on September 23, 1929, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Ralph D. and Thelma M. (nee Marshall) Gilbert.She graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1947.Doris married the love of her life, John A. Beninghof on October 12, 1947.She was a devoted member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church where she served as a deaconess and on many committees. She worked 40 years at the F.E.Myers Company, where she had many long lasting relationships with her co-workers. She had a wealth of friendships and her grandchildren adored her.Doris is survived by her two daughters, Robin (Toby) Crawford of Backus, Minnesota and Teri Drake of Ashland; a son, John W. Aretha Ann (Airulla) Alexander , 90, of Ashland, died Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Brethren Care Village. Born on May 20, 1936 in Smithville, Ohio to Karafil and Helen (Fedor) Airulla. Aretha graduated from Smithville High School’s class of 1954. She then headed to Bowling Green State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1958. This is where she met the love of her life, Rodney Alexander. The pair were married on August 16, 1958.The first part of Aretha’s career was spent raising her family, then she went on to teach in the Hillsdale, Ashland and Crestview school districts until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed her flower garden, baking, playing bridge and flea marketing. Edward “Eddie” Lee Keiffer, 74 of Marysville passed away on September 29, 2026 at Marysville Memorial Hospital.He was born on February 7, 1952 in Ashland County, the son of the late Harry and Aline (McCormick) Keiffer. Eddie graduated from Ashland High School in class of 1970. Over the course of his life, Eddie held many jobs, working primarily in construction and sales. Eddie had a deep love for the water. He enjoyed boating on Lake Erie and spent many happy hours on the beach during his years living in North Carolina. Music was a big part of his life - if there wasn’t a song playing he was whistling one. Outgoing by nature, Eddie never met a stranger.
