John W. Plosila 73 of Conneaut passed away Monday evening March 30 2026 at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born July 4 1952 in Conneaut the son of Arthur and Virginia Lesperance Plosila. John earned his masters degree in education and administration beginning his career as an English teacher before serving as principal at both Rowe Middle School and Conneaut High School. He was a proud member of the Ohio University Marching 110 where he played the trombone and loved returning for band days. John was also active in the Conneaut Rotary Club contributing to numerous community projects. He belonged to the 300 Club for old cars and enjoyed attending many car shows. An Eagle Scout and former Scout Master he carried those values of service and leadership throughout his life. John loved working with his handstinkering building and fixing anything he could. Vivian Ruth Ford 93 passed away peacefully on Sunday March 29 2026 surrounded by the love of her family by her side. Born on July 23 1932 in Rock Creek Ohio to Leonard and Elizabeth Muse Sheats Vivian grew up with a strong sense of family that shaped every part of her life. A proud graduate of Jefferson High Schools Class of 1950 she married her one true love Keith Ford on February 25 1956. Together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage a lifetime filled with devotion laughter and treasured memories. For Vivian her greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother. Her daughter Lori Ford and son Russell Darlene Ford were the center of her heart and she took endless pride in the family they built.
