Jean as she was known to family and friends was born Phyllis Jean Aston on November 1 1939 in Kensington Columbiana County Ohio to Charles Thomas Aston and Virginia May Ewing Aston. Jean later married John Jack Bullock on March 30 1963. Jean Aston graduated from Carrolton High in 1957 and would later graduate with a bachelors degree from Capital University. Jean would dabble in a wide variety of careers from working at Aston Bullock Hardware to designing and producing her own baskets painting gardening real estate insurance and working at Sears. Her greatest achievement was researching compiling and writing a book about the ancestors and descendants of Charles Virgina Aston. Jean was an enthusiastic fan of the Ohio State Buckeye basketball and football teams. For many years Jean was an avid golfer in several leagues and with husband and son.
