WILLIAM "Bill" T. WINTUCKY age 96 passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on April 3 2026. Beloved husband of Mary Wintucky nee Acocella for 60 years. Brother of Edwin G. Jr. Patricia Rydquist John and the late Carol Kraus Bill Dorothy Badovick Paul and Richard Loretta. Son of the late Edwin and Dorothy nee Palmer. Dear uncle of eighteen. Bill attended East Technical High School majoring in aeronautics. He earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Fenn College in 1953. After graduating he went on to work for NACA which became NASA in 1968. In 1954 Bill was drafted by the Army after the Korean War and sent to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio Texas. In 1960 a tragic car accident resulted in his first wife Lula Bell Rusts death and Bill being permanently paralyzed. Bill returned to work at NASA and retired in 1994.…
