She was born in Sprague West Virginia on July 3 1953 to the late Homer and Hilda Whaling Bailey. In 1985 Patricia proudly earned her Associates degree from Northwest State Community College. 1Patricia went to church at Dads Place. She loved music played guitar and sang professionally for several years. She enjoyed playing cards spending time outdoors and swimming. Patricia owned her own fly fishing business from 20002005 and loved making the flies. She treasured her time spent with family and friends. Frank L. Bartoe III age 74 of New Bavaria Ohio passed away surrounded by his family on Monday March 30 2026 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Toledo Ohio on August 15 1951 to the late Doris Wood and Frank L.Bartoe II. On May 18 1971 he married Tina Bolden who survives. Frank worked at Campbells Soup Company for over 38 years until his retirement in 2019. He enjoyed fishing gardening watching Gunsmoke and westerns on television playing pool and he loved to pull dandelions out of the yard. Betty attributed her longevity to having a great family beginning with her parents Ruth and Robert Dirr. As their only child born on February 15 1925 Betty longed for the company of other children which led to her dad petitioning the school board to allow her to attend school early.
