Betty Bohn

She was born in Sandusky on October 9 1932 to the late Cleota Schnell and Robert J. Williams. Betty was a proud 1950 graduate of Margaretta High School where she participated in Journalism Club and was also a cheerleader. After graduation Betty worked for a brief period of time at Elmer Borchardt Trucking Castalia. She met her future husband Bill L. Bohn at Downings Barn a popular dance hall. They later married December 8 1951 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Sandusky. Betty quickly went from being a city girl to a country bride and was a loving homemaker and mother. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church Castalia where she and Bill were members of the former Mr. and Mrs. Club. She also taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. Betty was active in Circle and volunteered with Bereavement luncheons. Her church family was very dear to Betty.…
