James Monroe Harmon 81 of Racine passed away at 425 p.m. on Tuesday June 30 2026 surrounded by loved ones at his residence. Born August 31 1944 in Inez Kentucky he was the son of the late William and Bertha Carter Harmon. James was a loving husband father grandfather greatgrandfather and friend. He loved all his grandchildren but shared a special bond with his lawn mowingbuddy Christian. He founded Harmon Heating and Cooling in 1977 which continues tooperateas a family business today. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 2171 a former member of the Racine Village Council and a member of the Racine Area Community Organization RACO. He was also a devoted fan of Ohio State football and basketball. James is survived by his wife Linda K. Christian Harmon of Racine Ohio whom he married on April 14 1972 in Columbus Ohio his daughters…
