Mary Marguerite “Marge” Rankin, age 88, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Bethesda North Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1938, in St. Martin, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Cordy) Maher.Marge was a faithful member of St. Martin Catholic Church while growing up and later became a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro. She worked for the Allen Company in Blanchester for over 20 years, dedicating many years of service.Marge was a kind and generous person who was always willing to help anyone in need. She had a giving heart and generously supported many charitable organizations, including the ASPCA, St. Jude Children's Hospital, and St. Anthony Charities.
