E. Marieta Brooker age 99 of Hilton Head SC formerly of Lancaster and Logan Ohio passed away on Monday June 29 2026 at Village Cove Assisted Living Center following a brief illness. Marieta was a wonderful mother to her children. She was also a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed hosting large and delicious holiday meals well into her early 90s. Marieta was the Treat Dealer for her Grand Dog Abbi. In her younger years she enjoyed jogging swimming and ice skating. She was an avid Ohio State Football fan to the very end Marieta was a 1944 graduate of Logan High School and was employed by the City Auditor in Logan for many years. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Logan then St. Peters Lutheran Church in Lancaster. Marieta is survived by her daughter Julie A.
