David R. McDaniel age 62 of Laurelville Ohio passed away on March 30 2026 at Fairhope Hospices Pickering House in Lancaster Ohio following an extended illness. David was devoted to his family and is survived by his wife Debra sons Shawn Misty McDaniel and Jeremy McDaniel his beloved grandchildren Addison and Miles McDaniel as well as bonus grandchildren Gage and Lanee Gilbertson close friends Frank Varian Brian Hill and Don Hill as well as cousins nieces and other family members. He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Cottrill McDaniel and stepfather Donald Rowland. David lived a life full of adventure enjoyed his time with family and friends and actually enjoyed his job.
