Dorothy Rose Cooper 94 formerly of Rayland OH passed away Sunday March 29 2026 at Gables Nursing Home in Hopedale OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Cooper and Calvin Kreuger and two sisters Maryann Petrella and Eileen Briggs. Dorothy is survived by her nephew Derek Briggs Jody Perone her niece Janet Brookins five very special greatnephews Shane Brookins Tyler Jordan Brookins Nathan Brookins Christian Briggs and Cameron Nikki Briggs and former son inlaw Jim Brookins.

Timothy Joel Hiam 65 of Tiltonsville OH passed away Sunday March 29 2026 at Lizas Place in Wheeling WV. He was born on August 29 1960 in Martins Ferry OH to Wilma Jackson Hiam and the late Charles Hiam. Tim was a graduate of Buckeye South. After graduation Tim served in the United Sates Navy for six years and the United States Army for eight years. Before retiring Tim was employed with Cardinal Health. Tim enjoyed being outdoors and spending time at the beach. In the fall he loved watching the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be greatly missed In addition to his mother Tim is survived by his son Tyler Britany Hiam his stepson Matt Hayman his brother Ron Jan Hiam and his granddaughter Remi Monroe Hiam. Sondra M. Haney Pompa 89 of Steubenville Ohio passed away on Friday March 20th at Bolgers Country Club Manor under the care of Valley Hospice. She was born November 18th1936 in Steubenville to the late Wilmer and Agnes Kirkpatrick Haney. Sondra wasalsopreceded in death by her husband of 51 years Joseph F. Pompa her sisters M. Dolly Edgar Johns and W. Susan Willis Roush. Sondra is survived by her daughters Maria Sharp of Colorado and Melissa Billy Tice of Wintersville her 3 grandchildren Zachary Anna Perine Mallory Alicia Lane and Tanner Tice and 1 great grandchild Ariana Perine. Gary Lee Bolon 67 of Colerain passed away Thursday March 26 2026 at the Enclave at Barnesville. He was born on August 19 1958 in Wheeling a son of the late James and Betty Rueckle Bolon. Gary was a former member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church retired from the Martins Ferry City School District in the food service department and also a bus driver prior to that he was employed by Moores Lumber and the Colerain IGA and was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
