Terri Lynn Tharp, age 64, of Howard, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 9, 2026.She was born on December 6, 1961, to the late James O. and Clairbelle (Furtural) Campbell.Terri was employed by Kroger’s where she worked for 26 years. She will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother, and especially for the joy she brought to Scarlett and the special relationship they shared.Terri is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jay T. Tharp Sr., a son, Jay (Brittany) Tharp, four grandchildren: Brooklyn, Emma, Scarlett, and Aiden; three brothers, Tom (Miyuki) Campbell, Jerry (Stacy) Campbell, and Jay Campbell.She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Janice Tharp.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and from 4:00- 6:00 pm at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road…

John C. (Jack) Holmes, age 67, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was born on July 28, 1959, in Mount Vernon to the late Norbert and Laura (Edwards) Holmes.John graduated from Centerburg High School and was very proud of the undefeated football season his senior year. He loved Friday nights watching high school football and enjoyed watching Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns.
