Jackie Lynn "Jack" Brooks passed away, March 29, 2026. He was born May 20, 1955 in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Jack and Maxine (Farmer) Brooks. Jack was a graduate of Utica High School with the class of 1974. He was an accomplished and skilled carpenter by trade. He worked for Cleveland Construction and Messer Construction Companies. Jack enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as being outdoors with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Clayton (Julie) Brooks; a daughter, Carrie Brooks; four grandchildren, Courtney (Fischer ) Nance, Chance (Bella Ellis) Brooks, Cayden Brooks, and Chloe (Luke) Thomas; two great grandchildren, Malia and Lovelyn; and two brothers, Danny (Margie) Brooks and Dean Brooks.In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by beloved wife, Brenda; and his sister-in-law, Marla Brooks.We will be gathering for a casual, open house- style celebration of life on Saturday, April 4, from…
