June Marie Chapman nee Dempsey 76 a resident of Grafton formerly of Duffield Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday August 1 2026 at the AMES Family Hospice House in Westlake. She was born December 26 1949 in Garten West Virginia. June worked as a machinist for Nordson in Amherst for many years before retiring. June loved spending time with her family playing board games and watching General Hospital and her Westerns. She is survived by her three children Dawn Ody of Elyria Jeff Chapman Sr. of Kentucky and Michelle Bartlebaugh of Homerville ten grandchildren many great grandchildren four siblings Melvin Dempsey Joyce Linda Lewis Ronnie Dempsey and Steve Dempsey and many nieces and nephews. Bungard nee Baker 90 a resident of Elyria formerly of Grafton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday August 10 2026 at the Abbewood Retirement Center in Elyria. She was born July 7 1936 in Somerset County Pennsylvania. Dolly worked as a seamstress after graduating until she got married to the love of her life Fred. Once married Dolly chose to stay home to raise her family and became the neighborhood babysitter for many of the local children. Dolly loved the Cleveland Guardians and enjoyed square dancing with her husband sewing crocheting gardening canning and was an excellent baker. She was a member of the Lagrange Global Methodist Church for many years. Gregg W. Miller 62 a lifelong resident of Grafton passed away following a long illness on Tuesday August 11 2026 at Arden Courts Memory Care of Westlake. He was born December 5 1963 in Elyria. Gregg was a 1982 graduate of Midview High School. As a part of Miller Builders with his father they built many of the local houses and the Duke Funeral Home. Later in life he used his knowledge of home construction to open and run Homesmart Inspection Services as a home inspector. Gregg enjoyed photography his family dogs and spending time with his family and loved Oreos. He was a lifetime member and former president of the GraftonMidview Kiwanis and during his time with the Kiwanis Gregg worked with the Village of Grafton to build the Grafton splash pad. He was born to the late Robert and Margret Kuzak on April 11 1965 in Elyria. Alan owned and operated Alan Larrys Auto Repair in Grafton for many years. He enjoyed working on his 72 Nova and going to car shows especially the Goodguys and the Blue Suede Cruise.
