Dyne Robert Hoenie 81 of Celina passed away May 27 2026at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Mary AnnBraun Hoenie. Dynes parents and brother Curtis Hoenie precededhim in death. Dyne is survived by his stepdaughter Heather Peter Maurer ofSt. Louis Missouri granddaughters Lucy Emily and Charlotte Maurersisterinlaw Jane Hoenie of Coldwater Michigan and niece Erica Pullins Hoenie. Dyne was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and the University of Dayton where he earned aBachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. He worked for National Cash Register as an accountant after graduation and was quickly promoted to Accounting Manager then worked at NCRs corporate offices. In a later job with Fairchild Camera Instrument he was an International Controller traveling extensively across Europe Asia and the Middle East. Dyne had a lifelong love of engineering and a knack for finding better ways to solve a problem. That drive…
