Age 29 of Brookville passed away following an extended illness on March 30 2026. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jim Maggie Burkett and Richard Shiflet. Nathan was a truly special person who brought a lot of warmth and joy to those around him. His love for simple happy things like a good hug a noisy toy an animal show or a favorite romcom speaks to his very sweet and bright spirit. He was extremely close with his brothers and family who will dearly miss him. Nathan is survived by his parents Jeff and Minnie Burkett brothers Nick and Tyler niece and nephew Peyton and Carson numerous other relatives and friends. Bernice Alene Kramer age 83 passed away on March 28 2026. She was born on May 11 1942 in Muncie Indiana and spent most of her childhood in Tennessee. Bernice later moved to Dayton in her teens and graduated from Patterson CoOp in Dayton. She will be remembered with gratitude and respect for the life she lived and the family she cherished. Alene enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds and listening to Elvissimple pleasures that brought her steady joy and were part of the rhythm of her everyday life. She also gave her time in service to others as a volunteer at Sycamore Hospital reflecting her caring and dependable nature.
