Paul devoted his life to helping others especially children with special needs. A special education teacher primarily in Greenville teaching was more than a professionit was his calling. While teaching fulltime he also worked at Michaels Group Home with his wife Dixie. Whether in the classroom or at the group home Paul believed every person deserved dignity compassion and the opportunity to succeed. A true jack of all trades Paul enjoyed a lifetime of adventures. Over the years he planted a Christmas tree farm raised pigs owned and operated arcades coached youth sports and loved spending time deer hunting. He was known for his love of "wheelin and dealin" and he truly never knew a stranger. His warm smile quick wit and genuine interest in others turned acquaintances into lifelong friends.
