She was a longtime resident of Zanesville and spent the past nine years at Brookdale Senior Living where she enjoyed the companionship of her dear sister Elizabeth Libby Curtis. He spent much of his life in Zanesville where he became a familiar and friendly face to many throughout the community. Dayle was a social person who genuinely enjoyed being around others. He loved a good conversation especially when the subject turned to two of his favorites professional wrestling and old television shows. For nearly two decades Dayle could often be seen riding his bicycle dressed in a suit around Zanesville collecting aluminum cans along the way.
