Maryann Hass age 84 of Palmyra Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday April 1 2026 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was born July 12 1941 in Shelby Ohio to the late Glenn Elsie Blum Hass and had been a Lorain Ohio resident most of her life. She was a 1959 graduate of Plymouth High School and a 1965 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Education. Maryann was a 5th grade teacher at Sheffield Lake Elementary School for 28 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Plymouth Palm Lutheran Church in Palmyra PA the Lorain County Retired Teachers and enjoyed reading and crafting. She is survived by two nephews Bradley Hass wife Tracy and Brian Hass wife Maxine and two great nieces Caitlyn and Courtney Hass all from Palmyra PA.
