Paul Clinton Scharbrough 58 of Chillicothe passed at 423 p.m. Wednesday July 1 2026 in the James Cancer Center OSU following an extended illness. He was born February 9 1968 in Stanford Kentucky to Jake and Shirley Martin Scharbrough. On July 15 2011 he married the former Sherry Vest who survives. In addition to his wife surviving are his mother and stepfather Shirley and Tom King children John Scharbrough Duston Cynthia Scharbrough Aaron Trent Chad Jamie Faulkner and Kristen Johnnie Montgomery 7 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren brothers Dave Evelyn Scharbrough and Wayne Debbie Scharbrough sisters Tish Dave Canter Crystal Brian French and Denise Randy Shepherd Music and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and stepmother Jake and Marci Scharbrough a great grandson and a brother Gayle Scharbrough. Paul was the owner and operator of Scharbrough Contracting. Christopher A. Karshner 43 of Chillicothe passed at 234 p.m. Tuesday June 30 2026 in Riverside Methodist Hospital Columbus following a brief illness. He was born January 10 1983 in Ross County Ohio to Timothy and Kim E. Moss Karshner. Surviving are his son Brayden Alan Karshner father Timothy Karshner a sister Kara Dustin Perry Karshner a brother Chad Karshner a niece Coraleigh Karshner paternal grandmother Deanna Karshner and many aunts uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Kim Karshner. Chris graduated from Southeastern High School where he was recognized as All State in Division 5 Football. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. More than anything he loved being called Dad by his son Brayden.
