Niles Brian L. Penick 68 of Niles Ohio passed away on August 14 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. Brian was born on October 9 1957 to William "Bill" and Inez Penick. He earned his degree in mechanical engineering from Youngstown State University and went on to build a life defined by hard work service and above all devotion to his family. Brian had a true passion for firefighting and proudly dedicated many years of his life to the fire service. He served with the McKinley Heights Volunteer Fire Dept. where he rose to the rank of lieutenant and also served with the Blue Ridge Mountain Fire Co. His years as a firefighter were an important part of his life and he took tremendous pride in serving his community alongside his fellow firefighters The friendships camaraderie and memories he made during his years in the fire service remained…

Besides being well known for her feisty personality she was an avid gardener and phenomenal cook and was The Queen of hot peppers in oil. Mom was a huge animal lover of anything with fur or feathers. Katherine is survived by her two daughters Michelle Minto Daniel Monroe of Warren and Jennifer Jonathan Hursh of Florida her beloved grandsons Michael James Nicholas Jesse Chase and Trey. In addition to her human family she leaves behind her fur babies Louie and Roxie. NilesJoseph C. Brenner 69 of Niles passed away Monday August 10 2026 at St. Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room. Joseph worked at Wedgewood Pizza Austintown for 25 years where he did everything from prepping to baking the pizza. He enjoyed watching games shows and wrestling classic cars and spending time with his family. Joseph is survived by his son Joseph E.
