Norma Jean Phillips age 96 a lifelong resident of Uhrichsville Ohio passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday July 1 2026 at Park Village Southside in New Philadelphia Ohio after a period of declining health. Norma was born on May 12 1930 in Uhrichsville Ohio the daughter of the late Roy E. and Lena Dale Morrow Fouts. In 1948 Norma graduated from Uhrichsville High School. On August 17 1952 Norma married Alfred Fred Phillips. Together the spent 36 years of marriage until his passing on December 22 1988. Norma is survived by her two children Donna Jean Blaine Steele of Uhrichsville and James Teresa Phillips of Newport her only surviving sibling Ronnie Fouts of Newport brotherlaw Roy Janice Phillips of Heath grandchildren Shannon Jeff Sanders of Dover Amanda Roth of Stillwater Keith Jessica Steele of New Philadelphia and Andrew Gabby Phillips of Tuscarawas nine grandchildren Ethan and Noah…
