Freddie Franklin Edwards was born September 22 1945 to Hubert and Esther Edwards in Depew Oklahoma. He departed this life on March 28 2026 at the age of 80. Freddie grew up in Depew and graduated from Depew High School with the Class of 1964. Shortly after he answered the call to serve his country proudly joining the United States Army and serving during the Vietnam War. His dedication discipline and quiet strength were hallmarks of his character throughout his life. Following his military service Freddie built a long and steady career in the gas measurement industry where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of the Bristow Church of Christ and valued the fellowship and community he found there. Freddie was a familiar and friendly face around Bristow.
