Patrick Pat Grimes a devoted husband father and faithful servant of Christ passed away peacefully on June 20 2026 in Hermiston Oregon. He was born on July 15 1949 living out a life devoted to his family service and faith. Patrick proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1974. After discovering his passion for baking while serving in the Marines he became a Master Baker and got great satisfaction from baking many of his culinary creations. His favorite thing to bake was artisan bread that was thoroughly enjoyed by his friends and family. In 1972 he answered the call of Jesus Christ and remained a committed disciple throughout his life. During the last decade he and his wife attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. His interests extended beyond baking pursuits enjoying fishing camping and exploring the great outdoors.
