Janet Harvey Richards 92 formerly of Fair Oaks died Sunday May 17 2026 at Providence Care Center Beaver Falls. Born on May 3 1934 Philipsburg PA she was the daughter of the late J. Fred and Helen Luse Harvey. She retired from Quaker Valley School District in 1993 where she worked as a librarian for 25 years. She loved to read stories to the children at story time was a past president of the Band Parents Assoc. Janet was also involved in the Football Mothers and the Fair Oaks Womens Club for 40 years during which time she held several cabinet positions. The organization provided many community services. She was an Elections Officer in Fair Oaks. She was an avid reader loved her dogs bird watching and gardening with roses being her favorite flower.
