Fred A. Batzel 90 of Everett passed away on October 12 2026 at Homewood in Martinsburg. He was born on February 5 1936 in Hopewell Township. He was the son of the late Floyd R. and Marie Smith Batzel. On June 16 1957 he was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Bowser Batzel at the Zion Lutheran Church in Everett by Pastor David Bomboy. She preceded him in death on January 13 2020. He is survived by two children Mark A. Batzel of Florida and Lori L. wife of the late D.J. Troutman Jr. of Hyndman one grandson Drake S. Troutman his pride and joy. Also surviving are sisters Delores Clapper and Carol Porter and many nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by siblings Robert D. Donald E. Dale F. Murray Alice May 62 Hyndman passed away October 9 2026. Born November 1 1963 to the late John and Anna Kiser Kennell. She was also preceded in death by her son Kenneth Murray and daughter Theresa Murray. She was survived by her loving husband of 44 years Kenneth E. Murray. Also survived by her son Jason Katrina Murray grandchildren Wrenley and Wyatt Murray brothers John Laura Kennell and Charles Kennell sisters Judy Mike Troutman Bonnie Beals and Lisa Kennell. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Alice enjoyed playing bingo and going out to different events. She also enjoyed crocheting and loved her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Kennell Mills Sportsman Club. Family will receive friends on Friday October 16 from 5pm until 8pm and a funeral service will be held on Saturday October 17 at 11am at the Harvey H.
