Richard Paul Bond 84 of Bernville PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus his savior on Sunday August 9 2026 in the Reading Hospital. Born on the family farm in Upper Tulpehocken Township on October 15 1941 Richard was the last of five sons and three daughters born to the late Herbert P and Mary J Schucker Bond. Richard was a 1959 graduate of PennBernville High School. He completed an apprenticeship at Textile Machine Works in 1961 followed by an Associate in Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree from Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute Penn State WyomissingBerks Center in 1963. He also received an Evangelical Teacher Training Certificate and Diploma from Reading Bible Institute in 1971. Rich married Barbara G.
