Ronald Lynn Ron Hammond 75 of Altoona Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Friday March 27 2026 at his home surrounded by his family in Cape Coral Florida. Ronald was born in Altoona PA. on January 17 1951 to the late Mary E. Rinick and Edwin J. Hammond. In addition to his parents Ronald is preceded in death by his Wife Jeanie Bender Hammond who passed January 22 1996. Ronald is survived by his loving partner Charlene Beckwith of Altoona PA. his stepchildren Donette Rob Speck of Millcreek PA. Nicole Nick Washburn of Bokeelia FL. Justin Danna Harkleroad of Little Elm Texas. Kenan Natalie Harkleroad of Oklahoma City OK. his grandchildren Xaviaire Amanda Walters of Ocala FL. Sutton and Michael Speck of Mill Creek PA. and his brother Harold Hammond of Huntington PA. and countless other beloved family and friends. Ron was Baptist by faith throughout his life. Alfred J. Torso 92 of Altoona Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Wednesday March 25 2026 surrounded by his family at UPMC Altoona. Alfred was born on October 11 1934 in Altoona PA. to the late Helena Mary Martino and Michael J. Torso. In addition to his parents Alfred is preceded in death by a sister Patricia L. Keith and a niece Loretta Mangia. Alfred was Catholic by faith and often attended St. Marks Catholic Church on 6th Avenue. Alfred graduated from Altoona High School in the class of 1952 and shortly thereafter became a Mail Handler at the State College Post Office. Alfred also served our country as a United States Marine.
