JoAnn V. Bailey age 83 of Bellwood died unexpectedly on Thursday October 8 2026 at UPMC Altoona. She was born October 6 1943 in Punxsutawney daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary Gresock Skarbek. She married Donald Paul Bailey on June 25 1966 in Adrian. He preceded her in death on December 27 2016. Surviving are two children Shawn Bailey Suzanne of Mechanicsburg and Missy Tonkin Kent of Altoona a daughterinlaw Melissa David Bailey of Huntingdon four grandchildren Maddy Ira Ellie Wise Finn and Holden Bailey four siblings Ed Deb Ken and Nick Skarbek and Christine Miller Bill two sistersinlaw Lorna Laska and Kay Roseman and her beloved kitties Buddy Mel and Georgie. Timothy Michael Loose age 68 of Duncansville died Friday October 9 2026 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital Johnstown following a brief illness. He was born January 3 1958 in Altoona son of the late Palmer M. and Dorothy G. Wyant Loose. He married the former Terri L. Boone on September 30 2011. Surviving is his wife a son Erik Loose of Roaring Spring four brothers Palmer Loose Gayle of Altoona William Loose Teresa of Duncansville Wayne Loose Vicki of Milton and Mark Loose Deanna of Williamsburg and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved cat Meka. Tim retired from New Pig in Tipton. He enjoyed hunting fishing and watching sports. He was a fan of the Phillies Lakers PennState and the Altoona Curve.
