Ms. Helsel 79 of Ebensburg died Wednesday February 11 2026 at UPMC Mercy Pittsburgh. She was born December 9 1946 in Philipsburg a daughter of the late Paul and Constance L. Wisor McGuire. She is survived by a daughter Mary Ann Helsel of Philipsburg two siblings Cheryl Wilson Edgecombe of New Orleans LA. and James R. Wilson of West Decatur and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her life companion Donovan Kutruff of Ebensburg. Sharon was a member of the Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf Senior Citizens and the Western Pennsylvania Deaf Senior Citizens. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Preceded in death by parents loving husband Carl Jones who died June 16 1996 sons David and Carl Jones sisters Mary Nelson Evelyn Kutruff Irene Blackner Edna Vermeulin and brothers Charles Sawtelle William Sawtelle and Russell Hanson. Survived by daughters Diana Keith Northern Cambria Alice Robert Shonsky Northern Cambria Janet Charles Bair Gipsy and Bruce Janice Jones St. Boniface.
