John M. Jack Ruzicka Sr 83 of Lansford entered into eternal rest Monday March 30 2026 in St. Lukes Hospital Miners Campus. He was the husband of Joann Krokovich Ruzicka. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on July 25th of last year. Born in Coaldale he was a son of the late Paul Sr. and Mary Macaluso Ruzicka. He was a graduate of Nesquehoning High School Class of 1960. He was employed in the maintenance department for the Carbon County Housing Authority he worked security for the John Vanak Detective Agency and most recently worked for the Faculty Management System of the Panther Valley School District. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the Lansford Fire Company a member of the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club Lehighton and a member of the 12th Man Club. Francis X. Punker McHugh 72 of Lansford passed away on Monday March 30 2026 at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale. Born in Coaldale he was the son of the late Francis X. McHugh Sr. and Sara Shovelin McHugh. He was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School and then went on to attend college at Bloomsburg University. Francis had worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Bath and Bethlehem for many years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley in Summit Hill. Francis was a member of the Summit Hill American Legion Post 316 and Summit Hill St. Gabriels Italian Club. He was an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees fan. Teresa M. Terry Lupco 65 of Lansford passed away on Saturday March 28 2026 at her residence. Born in Somerville N.J. she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Lazar Brunda. She was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1978. She worked as a home caretaker for many years. Terry was a very creative and artistic having enjoyed painting and creating various crafts. She was of the Catholic faith. Terry most of all loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and was known to have hosted all the family holidays.
