Julia Hydock 96 of Lake Hauto entered into eternal rest Sunday August 2 2026 at Maple Shade Assisted Living Facility Nesquehoning PA. She was a graduate of Nesquehoning High School Class of 1948. She married in 1955 and resided in Morrisville PA for 30 years before retiring in Lake Hauto in 1987. She was employed as a seamstress for Kiddie Kloes in Nesquehoning. She also worked for Heinemann Electric Co Bayer Aspirin State of New Jersey and for many small manufacturing facilities throughout her life. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Nesquehoning where she was a member of the church choir. Julia enjoyed watching all sporting events cheering for PSU Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. Julia was the ultimate homemaker mother grandmother and story teller. Robert B. Rebar 82 of Nesquehoning entered into eternal rest Tuesday August 18 2026 in Maple Shade Meadows Assisted Living Center Nesquehoning. He was the husband of Rose Bimbi Roman Rebar. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on January 25th of this year. He was a graduate of Nesquehoning High School Class of 1962. He then furthered his education and earned a certification as a machinist from the former Williamsport Technical Institute. He was also a member of the Carbon County Shriner Club and a member of the Carbon Lodge No. 242 FA Masons Jim Thorpe. Bob was a Corvette enthusiast. He loved restoring his 1963 and 1966 corvettes. He also enjoyed his meetings with his Corvette Club and his many trips to the Corvettes at Carlisle. Gail Ann Yurchak 90 passed away peacefully in her Quakertown home on Tuesday August 4 2026 with family by her side. Nearly 70 years ago on August 11 she married the late Dr. Metro Duke Yurchak Jr. They were married for over forty years before he entered eternal rest on May 23 1997. She was a graduate of Lehighton Area High School Class of 1953 where she was a majorette. She also earned a Diploma through the Chicago School of Interior Decoration in 1972. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Nesquehoning for nearly twenty years. Her faith journey also included longterm memberships at Hilltown Baptist Church in Chalfont and St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Allentown. Gary was formerly a member of Faith Alive Church in Palmerton where he enjoyed being part of the church choir. Gary was an Assistant Field Captain at the East Penn Sporting Club where he enjoyed spending time with friends and fellow members. He was also a member of Lehighton Orioles Nest 183 and the Bowmanstown Fire Company. Gary was a talented handyman who could build repair or improve just about anything around the house. He took pride in his ability to fix things and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
