Born Susan Stuart Condrey to Bailey and Sally Condrey of Richmond VA she died in the evening of June 30th at Bryn Mawr Hospital as the Strawberry Moon of 2026 was rising in the nighttime sky. As one of four children she accompanied her mother and siblings to Bayville Farms in Virginia Beach on many occasions to pick strawberries. An interesting coincidence. The family home resided in VA Beach for more than five decades. As a teenager she became a docent at the Thoroughgood House in Virginia Beach. The house is historically noted as the oldest brick home in North America. She was quite attentive to the details and artifacts related to the structure and its owner Adam Thoroughgood.
