Anna Mary Burnett 84 of West Chester PA passed away Friday August 14 2026 at Hickory House in Honey Brook PA. Mary graduated from Henderson High School in 1961 then worked in or near her hometown until she retired from Chester County Hospital in 2012. She loved being Mom to Becky and Bobby Grandma to Laura Megan Garrett and half of Chester County and motherinlaw to Tina and Dan. She had the best Super Bowl Parties loving a full house of family to feed. She made sure not to miss school concerts softball or football games. Bingo and the casino ranked very high. Born April 29 1930 in Uniontown PA she was the daughter of the late Anna Povlovcak and Michael Nahaj. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Goncus and Loretta Miller and brother Michael Nahaj Jr. Ann is survived by her daughter Diane Tompkins of West Chester PA. She is also survived by her sister Mary Matyas Dave brother Eugene Nahaj Gloria and many nieces and nephews. She was employed at DenneyReyburn Company for over three decades as a press operator and subsequently worked at QVC in its jewelry packing department. Ann enjoyed going shopping at Boscovs in particular with her dear friend Peg McGinley. She loved spending time with family and friends playing board games or cards. Vazquez-Ortega, 73, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 at home.She was the wife of the late Celio Padilla Vazquez with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.Born in Puerto Rico she was one of sixteen children of the late Miguel and Librada Ortega Vazquez.She was Catholic by faith.Zaida and her husband were the owner of Florimar candy store in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico for 30 years before moving to the United States in the year, 2000.Zaida enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
