She was born on January 1 1932 in North Pinegrove PA to the late Charles R. Coogan and Doris Boyd Coogan. Dorothy had attended college in New York City for 2 years earning an associates degree. She worked as a cafeteria supervisor at North Clarion School District and had also worked for visiting nurses. She was a member of the Food Service in Ohio. Dorothy was a parishioner at St. Marys Catholic Church in Crown PA. where she was part of the ladies auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by her seven children seven grandchildren one brother one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place at St. Marys Cemetery in Crown on July 9 2026 at 1130am with Rev. Brandon Kleckner pastor as celebrant.
