Mary Lu Fullmer 77 of Millville passed away peacefully on May 13 2026 at The Gardens of Millville. Born on July 13 1948 in Bloomsburg she was the daughter of the late Denton and Anna Bordell Parker. She attended Millville High School and carried the memories of her hometown and school years with her wherever she went. Mary enjoyed playing bingo coloring working on word searches and putting puzzles together. She also liked going shopping an outing that gave her pleasure not only for the treasures she might find but also for the time spent out among others. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry J. Fullmer who passed away on February 22 2013. She was also preceded in death by three brothers Denton Thomas and Richard as well as her sister Mildred Parker. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday May 19 2026 at noon at Millville…

Jean Kessler, 90, of Berwick, died Saturday, May 16, 2026 at her home.Born November 18, 1935 in Jonestown, she was the daughter of the late Harold Strickland and Anna (Davenport) Strickland Hess.A graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1953, she was employed as a nurse for Dr. Francis for 12 years and retired in 2013 from Berwick Hospital, where she worked for 27 years.Mrs. Kessler was a member of Crosspoint Bible Church, Berwick. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, going out to eat, and participating in many church activities.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl P. “Curly” Welsh, who died October 3, 1973; her second husband, Charles E. Romeo, 96, of Berwick, died Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Sunset Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Bloomsburg.Born January 9, 1930 in Atlas, PA, she was the daughter of the late Pantaleon and Elizabeth (Kovach) Coladonato.Mrs. Romeo was employed as a seamstress at Milco Industries in Bloomsburg for 40 years, and worked at the Romeo’s Pizza stand at the Bloomsburg Fair.Rita was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Berwick. A devout Catholic, she prayed the Rosary every day of her life. Her family and friends joked that the Pope had her on speed dial.She loved to read, and had an uncanny ability to solve the Sudoku and Cryptoquip puzzles in the Press Enterprise.Rita was a selfless person who loved doing for others. Confer, 63, of Berwick, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by friends and family.Born April 25, 1963 in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Ned and JoAnn (Kotroski) Sutton.A graduate of Northwest High School, Class of 1982, she went on to earn her certification and license as a beautician. Through the years she worked in customer service, most recently at Telerx.Jolene was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Berwick. She enjoyed drawing, crafting, puzzles, cooking, watching golf, mowing the grass, and playing with her grand critters: Ozzy, Buster, Sushi, Salem, and Pikachu.
