On February 3 2026 our beautiful mother Joan CornillotHenry passed peacefully surrounded by her children. She was 88 years old and it still wasnt enough time. If you knew Joan you knew the laugh. You knew the warmth. You knew that when she walked into a room the whole place got a little softer brighter. She was a single mother who raised four kids and built a career as a managing editor at ASTM at a time when few women were doing both. She made it look effortless even when it wasnt always finding a way to make hard things feel lighter. She had a gift for turning life into something beautiful. Joan was a giver. Born on December 15 1940 in Elizabeth NJ son of the late Robert S. Fick and Eleanor J. Willis Pete mostly grew up in NJ eventually settling down living most of his life in Ringoes NJ. Third of five siblings that included 3 brothers Pete led an active life participating in various sports and athletics from an early age. After finishing high school at Hunterdon Central High School he earned his bachelors degree majoring in Physical Education from Springfield College and later his masters from what is now called The College of New Jersey. He spent the majority of his career 30 years as a Dispatcher at Boeing where he met the love of his life his wife Marieanne DiGiuseppe Vitullo who he was married to for nearly 54 years. Gus and Marieanne loved traveling together especially to the Saratoga Horse Racing Track in Saratoga Springs NY. Paul C. Hagy age 86 of Cape May Point NJ formerly of Brookhaven PA died at home on Tuesday February 10 2026. Paul proudly earned two masters degrees in education reflecting a lifelong commitment to learning. He graduated from West Chester University and received his Master Degrees from Temple University. Mr. Hagy was an Elementary School Principal for the Penn Delco School District. Paul found joy in baking cookies pies and desserts generously sharing them with family friends and his many appreciative healthcare workers. He also took great pleasure in winemaking and making his own bread and butter pickles. Paul loved giving gifts and supporting family. He was known as the Mayor of Princeton Avenue and loved holding confabs on the porch always with a good story or joke. Paul will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
