David A. Kucherawy age 73 passed away on February 11th 2026 at his home in Washington Pa. He is the oldest of five children to the late Albert and Charmaine Columbine Kucherawy. August 1st 1952 was his birthdate at North Charleroi Hospital. David graduated from California Area Schools California Pa. in 1970. His two degrees were in the area of Speech and Language Pathology. He taught four years in that curriculum area in Philadelphia Public Schools. An opportunity to work for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania began his administration positions in the state operated Mental Health and Mental Retardation Centers. David was a director of three facilities in his 36 years with the Commonwealth. Later in his career he was assigned in a temporary capacity at various facilities.
