Kenneth Cyril Murphy Jr passed away on March 27 2026 at the age of 80. Ken lived a full and meaningful life marked by his work and his love for music. He proudly served in the Navy Show Band where he shared his talent as a saxophonist. Throughout his career he worked with United States Steel Washington Metropolitan Transit and HR Block. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria Murphy his son Kenneth Murphy III and his parents Minnie and Kenneth Murphy Sr. Ken leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory his daughter Adela Harlow granddaughter Amber Burgess grandsons Norrin Voccio Paige and Larry Baumiller April and his greatgrandchildren Khiry Karter Kali Abbigale and Larry. Steven Wayne Cox 79 of French Creek WV passed away on March 30 2026 in Markleysburg PA due to complications from dementia. He was born on November 28 1946 in Buckhannon WV the son of the late Betty Jean Geraldine Cox. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Edward Miller Cox and Zenna Belle Riffle Cox. Steven proudly retired as a security officer after 40 years of service at West Virginia Wesleyan College a job he truly loved. He was a devoted father grandfather and greatgrandfather cherished by his family and friends. Judy Ann Koontz Humphreys went home to be with her heavenly father in the early morning of April 3 2026 waiting for her was her husband Doug whom passed just 36 hours earlier. Beverly J. Dusha, 82, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1 , 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 28, 1943, in Scottdale, a daughter of the late Roy and Geraldine (Trump) Hixson. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Connellsville where she met and married Joseph "Joe" in 1965. They built a long, happy life together and would have been married 61 years. Beverly was a 1961 graduate of Connellsville High School. For several years she worked as a secretary in the Administrative Office of the Connellsville Area School District. She was a devoted member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Connellsville. Beverly sang in the church choir, served on Church Council and other numerous committees and graciously served on the committee that prepared funeral dinners for families in their time of need.
