Kathleen Marie “Kate” Eberhardt, 21, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Downingtown, PA, leaving behind a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.Born April 23, 2004, in Green Bay, WI, she was the deeply loved daughter of Jon and Sue (Wynne) Eberhardt of Greencastle.Kate grew up in Greencastle, where her vibrant personality, sense of humor, and compassionate nature made her someone people were naturally drawn to. A 2022 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, she went on to attend West Chester University, where she pursued a degree in nutrition and dietetics. She had a genuine desire to help others, always looking for ways to care for and support those around her.While in high school, Kate played field hockey and proudly served as team captain, encouraging her teammates with both strength and kindness. William Richard (Bates) Jairett was born on February 20, 1936 in Rushville, Indiana, to Thelma and Edgar Bates. At a young age when Bill's mother remarried, he was adopted by his stepfather, Arthur D. Jairett. Bill passed into eternal life on March 23, 2026.Bill graduated from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1954. After graduation, he attended Penn State University for two years and graduated from John Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with the class of 1964. George loved working on the farm when he was young. He was a union steward and retired from Mack Truck. He enjoyed carpentry gardening and restoring tractors.
