Born December 20 1939 Ed was the son of the late Kenneth and Rosetta Harr. Upon their death he was adopted by Jesse and Lillian Harr McGarvey. Ed graduated from Captain Jack High School in Mt. Union PA. After graduation he served four years in the United States Marine Corps graduated from Hagerstown Junior College and attended Shippensburg University. He retired in 1991 from Scotland School for Veterans Children with 26 years of service. He also worked for many years at Penn National Golf Course. Ed and Nancy Fazenbaker met in high school and were married in St. Catherines Catholic Church Mt. Union PA on August 17 1963. Pauline loved spending time with her family especially hosting holiday and family gatherings. She loved her dog Peanut. Kathryn retired from Letterkenny after more than 25 years. She was a longtime member of NARFE where she was head of the ways and means committee and was very active in fundraising for Alzheimers. For many years Kathryn had her own silk flower business. She loved to cook and travel but her greatest love was spending time with her family. She especially loved beach trips and Christmas which was her favorite holiday.
