Thelma McBride Cox 91 of James Creek went to be with The Lord on Monday October 12 2026 at Embassy of Woodland Park Orbisonia. She had been in failing health. Born December 29 1934 in Huntingdon she was a daughter of the late S. Lester and Dorothy Thomas McBride. She was united in marriage to Reed O. Cox on December 1 1956 in Winchester VA. Mr. Cox preceded her in death on June 24 2014 after 57 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Michael R. Cox and wife Patricia of James Creek two grandsons Gregory M. Cox and significant other Teri L. Walk of Altoona and Jesse W. Cox and wife Courtney R. Cox of McConnellsburg and three greatgrandchildren Kellan Cox of Altoona and Vivian and Reed Cox of McConnellsburg.
