Joan Mary McMynne 83 died Wednesday evening at Marywood Heights in Scranton. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael McMynne. Born in Scranton daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Misiewicz Suetta she was a member of St. John Paul II Parish in Dunmore. Prior to her retirement Joan was employed as a registered nurse at the former Mercy Hospital for forty years and at the former Holy Family Residence for an additional ten years. Beyond her career as a nurse she was a dedicated mother who always put her family first living for her children and grandchildren. She also treasured the time spent with Mike touring the U.S. in their motorhome.
