Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl Wagner Hughes. Lorie was a 1984 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School in New Tripoli. She worked in inside service support for Amazon in Breinigsville and previously served as a retail clerk for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board store in Schnecksville. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Clarence Walk and Ethel Nonnemacher Albright. Pamela was a devoted and selfless mother and grandmother who worked three jobs to help her family. Gene R. Smith 87 of Center Valley passed away on Saturday May 9 2026 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown. His loving wife of 61 years Gloria Palmieri Smith passed away on 2020. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Raymond and Elsie Hinkle Smith. Gene played tenor sax for a popular local band in the 50s and 60s called the Royal Dukes. In the 80s his music career resumed with a German polka band called Edelweiss Kapelle and a variety band called Now and Then. Gene graduated from William Allen high school in 1956 then served his tool and die maker apprenticeship at Keystone Lamp winning apprentice of the year award.
