Alan Joel Greenberger 79 passed away on Wednesday July 1 2026 at Devon House in Allentown PA. Born in New York City he was the son of the late Harold and Rosaly Zigman Greenberger and the beloved husband of Martha Schrempel. Alan attended Francis Lewis High School in Queens the University of Rochester and received his PhD in physics from Brandeis University. He worked at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory where he attained the rank of senior technical staff of the university. Alan later was an engineer at Bell Laboratories Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems where he became a Distinguished Member Technical Staff. He held multiple patents and contributed to a number of technical articles. Alan enjoyed outdoors activities especially hiking and birding. He and Martha had many wonderful travels together including all over the US and Canada where they saw polar bears in northern Manitoba plus several European trips…

Marie Catherine Yundt Minger 96 died peacefully on June 27 2026. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Minger Sr. who died July 4 1999. Born in Allentown PA on November 11 1929 Marie was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Sattler Yundt. Marie graduated from Ravenhill Academy in Philadelphia. She was a cosmetologist at several Beauty Salons in her early years. Marie worked at Holy Family Manor as a hairdresser for the elderly taking care of their hair and nails. She loved her job. Marie enjoyed baking cooking sewing classical movies and eating chocolate ice cream. She was a volunteer for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival at DeSales University. Marie loved traveling and has visited several states and countries. Marie was deeply devoted to her faith serving as a sacristan lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Paul RC Church. She was also involved in the Womens Alliance prayer…
