SmethportNancy Lee Reese Nick of Smethport died Monday May 11 2026 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home where she had been a resident for about a year. Nancys family would like to thank the nurses aides and staff at the nursing home for the care and love that they provided to Nancy in her time of need. Nancy was born on June 7 1938 in Wrights Corners PA to Richard and Pauline Baker Reese. Nancy and her siblings were raised in a large part by her Grandmother and Grandfather Baker whom she loved dearly and who instilled in her and her sisters with a strong moral compass and work ethic. Nancy married Robert J. Nick on July 14 1956 and they were married until his death on October 31 2015. Smethport Gloria K. Calhoun 74 of Smethport passed away Saturday May 16 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 4 1952 in Port Allegany the daughter of Ivan and Edith Hess Bickford. In 1969 she married David Allen Calhoun Sr. who died April 5 2012. Gloria attended Smethport area schools and was employed at C.L. McKeirnan. Inc. of Smethport as a van driver for many years transporting children. Three daughters Stephany Jim Avery of Waterford PA Teresa Chris Stahli of Mt. Jewett and Heather Rob Herbstritt of Gifford In addition to her parents and husband Gloria was preceded in death by a daughter Mindy Lynne Bickford and a grandson Travis Lee Field. Smethport Harry E. Rounsville 79 of Smethport passed away on Wednesday May 13 2026 at his home in Smethport. He was born October 26 1946 in Bradford PA the son of Willard and Nellie Snyder Rounsville. After graduation he joined the Army and served from 1964 to 1984. On October 3 1969 he married Sandra K. Pierce. After their divorce he married Carrie Isaman Catalano Sheffer on March 20 1990 who survives. After the Army he worked for Valu Home Center for ten years then Quaker Mill Works in Orchard Park NY. After moving back to PA he worked for Smethport Specialty in Smethport then for Superior Well Services in Bradford from where he retired. Harry liked fishing and running his tractor and skidsteer.
