Richard D. Gross 74 of Lewistown passed away on Tuesday August 18 2026 at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his three brothers John Paul and Butch Gross. In his earlier years Richard worked as a mason construction worker contributing his skill and craftsmanship to many buildings that still stand today. He was proud of the work he did and the lasting mark he left on the community. He loved playing guitar and spent time performing in several bands over the years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and found joy in woodworking creating oneofakind projects that reflected his creativity and handson spirit. Richard D. John Bigelow Sr.

Born May 6 1938 in Yeagertown he was the son of the late Richard W. and Dorothy E. Knode Bigelow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Richard A. Bigelow and a sonnlaw Dwight Kirkland. He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years Marcia A. Marcy McKinley Bigelow whose companionship and love were central to his life children John W. Bigelow Jr. and wife Lou Ann of New York Kay Kirkland of Mifflintown Michel L. Bigelow and wife Deb of Lewistown four grandchildren three greatgrandchildren and a brother Robert L. Bigelow and wife Kweta of Germany. John was a life member of Yeagertown Fire Company. He was a 1938 graduate of Chief Logan High School. Kenneth Berrier

Kenneth Q. Berrier 76 of Yeagertown passed away on Thursday August 6 2026 at his home. Born Jan. 29 1950 in Rockhill Furnace he was a son of the late Donald Q. and Mary Louise James Berrier. Surviving are his wife Carol L. Harshbarger Berrier whom he married on Oct. 7 1972 and a son Thomas Q. Berrier of Yeagertown. Mr. Berrier was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1969 to 1971 stationed in Germany. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was a life member of the Rockhill Furnace American Legion a member of the Yeagertown Fire Co. and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Burnham.
