Teresa Tanska 82 of Quakertown Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 11 2026 surrounded by her family. Born on August 5 1943 in Poland Teresa was one of ten siblings. She grew up in a large closeknit family where resilience generosity and deep love for one another were simply a way of lifevalues she carried with her and passed on to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Teresa spent most of her early years in Starogard Gdaski Poland where she devoted herself to caring for children. As both a teacher and the director of a day care center she shaped young lives with patience kindness and an open heart. In 1988 with extraordinary courage and an unshakable hope for a better future Teresa made the lifechanging decision to emigrate to the United States with her three daughters. Melinda Jean "Linda" Gavin born September 8 1949 passed away on February 12 2026. Born in Philadelphia to Anthony Rozsar and Loretta Gramlich Rozsar Linda lived in Willow Grove for the past fifty years. She was a member of Saint David Parish and attended the St. James elementary school before continuing on to Cardinal Dougherty High School and graduating from Gwynedd Mercy College where she attained an Associate Degree. Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years Johnher son John Jr Simand daughter Jennifer. She waged an unrelenting and courageous seven and a halfyear battle against Alzheimers Disease before passing. The family expresses deep gratitude to the wonderful nurses and support staff at Memory Care at the Park for their compassionate and loving care during this very difficult time. Ruth Zali Deming ne Greenwold died peacefully on February 10 from complications of dementia. She was a poet journalist therapist mental health activist single mom and bohemian bon vivant. The eldest of six Ruth was born Christmas 1945 at Camp Lejeune to Bernice and Harold Greenwold. She graduated from Shaker Heights High and attended Goddard College in Vermont before graduating from Temple. While working at the family store the Now and Then Shop in New Hope Pennsylvania she met the father of her two children Mike Deming of Texas. After their divorce Ruth returned to Pennsylvania where she wrote feature stories for the Philadelphia Inquirer Montgomery County Record Art Matters and other local papers celebrating the beauty she saw everywhere.
