Dan was born Dec 9 1943 in Detroit Michigan to John Morgan Sweeney and Helen Takala Sweeney. He was the oldest and arguably the best of four children. He is survived by his wife Sandra they married in 1970 his brotherinlaw Ken Schmader Dans children Mark LaurenSweeney Jennifer Erin Jason Murray Sweeney and David KellyKennedy Sweeney and his grandson Callan. He is also survived by hissisters Karen Morgan of Colorado and Linda Allen Knop Sweeney ofWisconsin. He was predeceased by his brother John Brian Sweeney 2021and his parents. Dan grew up in Detroit Michigan he graduated from Cooley HS 1962before attending Auburn University Mathematics 1966. Born January 4 1947 in Philadelphia he was a son of the late William J. and Mildred Leidy Hutchinson. James loved tinkering with cars. His passion for cars wasnt just a hobby but it was also a way of life. He also had a deep appreciation for warm weather often saying that nothing beat the feeling of the sun. Marjorie R. Swartley 89 of Souderton PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 31 2026. She was the beloved wife of Raymond N. Swartley Jr. with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. Born on November 25 1936 in Blue Bell Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Cassel Rohr. Marjorie graduated from Hatfield High School in 1954. She began her working years as a seamstress at Sunshine Clothing Factory in Souderton. After marrying she joined her husband in dairy farming while also working a variety of parttime jobs to support her growing family. Her work included positions with Dutchmaid Clothing Gouldeys Meats and Jane Bird Catering. She also faithfully volunteered as a bus driver for Plumstead Christian School and served as an area representative for the Fresh Air Program. Lisa was born in Philadelphia on March 1 1967. She was the daughter of Therese Murray and the late Robert J. Ruff. She graduated from Saint Josephs University in 1989 and Mercer University School of Law in Macon Georgia in 1992. Lisa grew up in Northeast Philadelphia before moving to Harleysville in 1998. After law school Lisa passed the bar and worked as an attorney in Georgia and Pennsylvania. Lisa made a career change in the early 2000s. She received a masters degree in library science from Drexel University. Her first job as a librarian was at the Villanova University Law Library. Lisa then transitioned to the career she loved. She became an elementary school librarian for the Wissahickon School District where she worked until her retirement in 2023.
